Finding Light in the Tension

Hey there fellow Harpists 👋

After the beautiful response to our first Journey Through the Modes workshop, we're ready to dive deeper together.
​

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

Join us for the second part of our journey — this time, we're moving from theory into experience.
We'll spend our time getting intimate with two particularly healing modes: the Lydian mode and the Major 7th scale (from the Ionian mode) — exploring how they weave together to create a landscape of sound that holds both sorrow and peace, uncertainty and wonder.

Part I gave us the map. Part II invites us to walk the path.

Together, we'll:

• Experience the Lydian mode through playing and feeling its unique voice
• Explore the Major 7th scale (Ionian Mode) and its gentle magical healing touch
• Learn the art of weaving these two modes together
• Discover how these modes can support therapeutic and meditative harp playing
• Practice improvising within these healing soundscapes
• Learn practical techniques for integrating these modes into your own playing

This workshop is for all levels. Whether you attended Part I or this is your first time joining us, you're welcome here.

For Therapeutic Musicians - CEU Eligible:
Good news! My workshops are eligible for CEU credits with many NSBTM programs.
Simply submit the workshop details to your certification provider along with a brief explanation of how it enhanced your therapeutic music practice.
