Episode 1 of Strings of Hope PODCAST is out! - 'From Notes ot Nuance, Sunita Staneslows journey through Music, Heart, Improvisation, and the beauty of Simplicity

Hi there.
Im so excited to share with you the first episode of the Strings of Hope podcast:
'From Notes to Nuance', Sunita Staneslows journey through Music, Heart, Improvisation, and the beauty of Simplicity.

In each episode of the Strings of Hope podcast, I'll be sharing conversations with my favorite inspiring harpists, harp builders, and music artists from around the world. With a focus on their life stories about working through the challenges and difficulties that come up when trying to fulfill our life dreams, and living our lives doing what we are passionate about.

And its such an honor to launch the first episode with Sunita Staneslow!
Sunita is one of the first harpists I began listening to when learning the harp and her healing, meditative style has been a strong influence in my harping ever since. After building my first harp in 2014 from a Music Makers Regency kit, I found her music and just loved how she played many tunes to words from the Psalms, her therapeutic style so full of space breath and depth, giving place for the magic of the harp to shine. Till today that influence of her music still inspires the way I play now.

One of the things that struck me as a surprise when talking with Sunita, was that I always assumed that she was a strong improviser. Was I shocked to find out that she initially struggled with improvising. As a classically trained musician, she was very well versed in music, but improvising just wasn't being taught there, especially not on harp.
In the discussion she shares her journey of how she began improvising, and her journey of making beautiful music from playing less instead of more.
