We had a wonderful membership launch Zoom meetup today, with harpists joining from different parts of the world. We played together with modes and improvisation, walked through the vision for the membership, and took a look inside the Strings of Hope platform.

Founding Member Pricing

For the next two weeks, you can join as a Founding Member at the lifetime discounted price of $35/month.

As long as you remain a member, that founding rate stays with you, even when the membership price goes up later.

The Founding Membership is the beginning stage of Strings of Hope, and this first group will help shape the membership as it grows.

My hope with this membership is to help you play more freely, explore new musical colors and styles, grow in confidence, and connect more deeply with your own unique inner song through the harp.

What we’ll be learning

The Strings of Hope learning will grow through circular, interconnected paths, including:

• Improvisation
• Modes and scales
• Intuitive music theory
• Integrating effects and technology
• Foundational technique
• Playing by ear
• Meditative and therapeutic harping
• Jewish, ancient, Middle Eastern, and worship music
• Playing with others
• Expression, creativity, and composing from the heart

Here’s a chart of the main learning paths, which will be the focus of our group workshops:

The membership includes

• Three live workshops per month during the Founding Members period
  Later, this will become two live workshops per month when the membership opens to the public.
• Workshop recordings, so you can watch later if the timing does not work for you
• A growing library of lessons and replays inside the membership platform, great for micro-practicing sessions on your own time
• Harp maintenance support, like lever regulation and string changing
• A community space where you can ask questions, share progress, and receive support
• Opportunities for Founding Members to help shape the timing, themes, and direction of the workshops
• A global schedule chosen together with the first Founding Members

Because we already have people interested from different countries and time zones, we will begin by sending out a poll to Founding Members so we can choose the best regular workshop times together.

When do the workshops begin?

The first live workshop will begin next week, after we have had a little time to gather the founding group, hear from everyone, and choose the best schedule and first workshop theme.

Your first month begins with a free trial, so you can come in, experience the membership, and see if it feels like the right fit.

After this two-week Founding Member window closes, the doors will close for a while so we can focus on building the membership with the first founding group.

During this time, we’ll have extended learning time together, and you will help shape what this membership becomes when it opens to the public.
