Hey There 👋 🎶 Avinu Malkeinu – “Our Father, Our King” – is a soulful Jewish prayer sung for generations during the High Holidays. According to the Talmud, during a drought, Rabbi Akiva prayed with pure generosity and kindness, asking God for mercy — and rain came. This heartfelt story inspired the melody we sing today. I was really hoping to make a workshop this year for you all but couldn't get to it.
